Even small nonprofits carry a public trust. TRE Magazines Charity Fund Inc files IRS Form 990-N—the electronic “e-Postcard”—each year because transparency is not optional; it is part of responsible stewardship.
What is Form 990-N?
Organizations with gross receipts normally $50,000 or less may file Form 990-N instead of the longer Form 990. The filing confirms basic information: legal name, EIN, principal officer, address, and whether the organization remains active.
Our latest filing
For tax year 2024 (tax period February 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025), we reported that gross receipts were not greater than $50,000 and that the organization has not terminated. A summary screenshot is available on our Verification page.
Why it matters to donors
Before making a charitable gift, prudent donors verify EIN 81-5387004 on the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search and review annual filings. Publishing our 990-N summary alongside our 2017 determination letter helps partners complete due diligence quickly.
