Magazines as Tools for Literacy

Literacy outreach

In an age of smartphones and streaming, it is easy to assume everyone reads online. Yet millions of Americans—including many in North Texas—still benefit most from printed materials they can hold, share, and keep.

Access beyond the screen

Magazines bundle stories, science, health tips, and civic information in a format that does not require broadband or a charged device. For shelters, senior centers, and ESL classrooms, a stack of magazines can seed conversation and practice reading aloud.

Our charitable model

As a 501(c)(3) organization, we collect and distribute educational magazines through partnerships with publishers, donors, and volunteers. Each drive extends the reach of materials that might otherwise go unsold or discarded.
